These are fun. I know they are a tool, but the first time you pick them up, you just have fun with the double joint. However, once you start using it to get into tight spaces, it is more than fun. It is useful. I now don’t use my long handled needle nose pliers. While they reach into spaces almost as good, I could never get the jaws open as wide as I need at times. With this double joint, you can get all the opening you need without needing two hands to spread the long handled.While I didn’t do a comparison on the video, I was able to get around double the angle opening with this pair over the standard hinge style of the same length. This is huge when you are working one handed.

Wish I had obtained one of these years ago. The long reach has come in super handy for both house work and auto repair. Unlike other long reach pliers with only a single joint, these don’t open as wide in the middle, which makes them great for tight spaces. They grip well, even with two joints.

More than once, I have been working on something that required a needle-nose pliers, and very often, that task involved being able to reach into a tight spot where your hands can’t really reach. The most recent example was me replacing the vehicle speed sensor on my wife’s mini-van. Anyone who owns one, knows that with a V-6 engine crammed in sideways in the engine compartment, there is not much elbow room for working. In this case, the sensor was located on the back side of the engine (which was hot), so reaching the bolts, wire harness and the part was difficult to say the least. This Crescent X2 Bent Nose Long Reach Pliers is the perfect solution for jobs like this! Whomever thought up the “X” design in these pliers was a genius, because it allows you to open the plier tool end wide, without the handle section being extended overly far. The tool seems stoutly built, and should last a lifetime. I really like this tool! Thanks Crescent, and Home Depot!

When I drop a part into a tiny space, my big hands will not fit in that space, I use to disassemble half the engine on the car, mower, leaf blower, anything that had a small hole that something could fall into. Not any more, I can reach into a small space with these long long nose pliers. They are great. I love the double cam action that allows the nose to open. You can get a death grip on the item and pull it out. It is so easy, I kick myself for not getting these long ago, Lots of knuckle bustin, time wasted, words spoken, sweat dropped, blood splattered time wasted. Now I just grab the pliers and reach in and presto its out. They are strong and easy to use, they fit in the tool box and are easy to find. I dont know why I waited so long. Reach way out with the long nose pliers.

This is an excellent product top to bottom. All of the joints are well fitting, the grinding is perfect and the double joint system is incredible. The tool operates smoothly, has a long reach and does not require a lot of strength to apply pressure. The jaw pattern holds parts tightly. The handle grip is comfortable. I would absolutely buy this brand again.

This is a great improvement on long reach pliers. They’ve added a joint in the middle of it so they don’t open as wide as a regular pair does, allowing you to use them in tighter spaces. A great addition to my toolbox, I can now get inside the engine compartment of my wife’s VW with a little more ease.They’re well built and feel great. Weighted well. I think they’ll last a long time.
