Built for small and medium businesses that are seeking a user-friendly and cost-effective 10GbE platform, the TeraStation 4TB 5410DN 4-Bay NAS Server from Buffalo takes advantage of iSCSI protocols to help move SMB data at enterprise-level speeds and reduce bottlenecks that can occur on slower networks. It has an overall capacity of 4TB, which is made up of 2 x 2TB SATA III 3.5″ NAS hard drives, and is further powered by a 1.7 GHz Annapurna Labs AL314 Alpine Quad-Core processor, 4GB of DDR3 ECC RAM, and Linux OS, allowing the 5410DN to run multiple concurrent services, including virtualized storage. Connectivity to your network is accomplished using one 10GbE port and two Gigabit Ethernet ports, and other compatible external peripherals can be connected to the 5410DN using its two USB 3.0/2.0 Type-A ports.
