The HDC250 is a flexible dust collection attachment for SDS-Max and SDS-Plus Universal hammers for drilling into concrete with core bits. It is optimized for drilling diameters from 1-1/2 in. to 5 in. but can accommodate up to 6 in. if the brush ring is removed. The attachment features 2 unique air chambers: 1 allows the drilling bit to pass through when drilling into the work surface. The second air chamber is designed to maintain suction to the wall during the drilling application. The dust port is designed for Bosch 1-3/8 in. vacuum nozzle but can be used with either 1-1/4 in. or 2 in. vacuum nozzles when used with the appropriate adaptor. The system is universal and is designed to connect to a vacuum so that it can be used with any size hammer and can accommodate the full range of core bit diameters and drilling depth.
- Dual air chamber provides for dust collection and suction to the wall
- Dust port accommodates 1-3/8 in. vacuum nozzles and can also fit other nozzle sizes with adaptors
- Replaceable brush ring provides dust seal for a wide range of bit diameters
- Rubber seal maintains suction on the drilling surface
- Dust port is designed for Bosch 1-3/8 In. vacuum nozzle but can be used with either 1-1/4 In. or 2 In. vacuum nozzles when used with the appropriate adapter
- System is universal and is designed to connect to a vacuum so that it can be used with any size hammer and can accommodate the full range of core bit diameters and drilling depth

This is a well made product, and works exactly as it was designed for: larger diameter core bits. The rubber seal is a heavy-duty profile that should last a long time if not subjected to damage. The body is glass-filled nylon. Note that surface you mount it on needs be reasonably flat in order for the vacuum suction to retain it properly. It works pretty good foroverhead drilling as well, but larger pieces of concrete chips can fall through the brush ringat times. This is not a problem, as the finer dust does get collected into the vacuum and not your lungs. For anyone who respects the need to control exposure to concrete dust, you can’t go wrong in buying this. Pick up the HDC200 attachment as well for use with thesmaller SDS plus and SDS max bits. And, of more importance, get a decent vacuum that works with concrete dust.

Work as it should. Minimum dust.

Drilling in concrete makes dust unless using a wet coring bit, this product works as intended for removing that dust.

Stick this thing anywhere, on a wall, floor. It’ll stay there when hooked to vacuum. Keeps dust down and makes cleanup faster
