Get a fast, long-lasting rotary hammer with the Bosch BullDog Extreme 11255VSR 1 in. Rotary Hammer. It features a multi-function selector that quickly shifts between rotation-only, rotary hammer and hammer-only modes for optimal versatility. It also has a variable-speed reversing trigger for accurate bit starts and simple removal of fasteners and bound bits. Includes SDS-Plus Dust Collection Attachment for Rotary Hammers. The HDC100 SDS-plus dust collection attachment is a flexible system fitting newest Bosch SDS-plus hammers. The system attaches to the hammers via a unique side handle interface to the attachment. It has a metal telescoping arm for precise retraction when used in drilling applications and can accommodate up to 4-3/4 in. drilling depth. The attachment can also be adjusted forwards or backwards in the side handle clamping band to accommodate a variety of bit lengths. The dust port can be hooked up to a 1-3/8 in. vacuum hose nozzle or can accommodate 1-1/4 in. or 2 in. nozzles when combined with the appropriate adaptor.

Had a Milwaukee that would heat up and it eventually broke after a year. Milwaukee wouldn’t fix it even though it was under warranty, gave me the run around. I gave up on them fixing it, so I bought the Bulldog. Doing the same work as I did with the Milwaukee, it doesn’t heat up and does the job quicker even though my Milwaukee had more power.

My job was to put a railing on our back concrete steps.This is my first time working with concrete so….I bought a low end hammer drill, $50 or so. The concrete is about 3″ thick. The cheaper drill just couldn’t do it. I went through two drill bits.Did a little research and found this BOSCH Bulldog Rotary Hammer drill, about $200. I also bought a double carbide tipped BOSCH drill bit. This drill went through the concrete like nothing.I had the job done in about 20 minutes. Now I’m looking for more concrete jobs ha ha. As I say, I’m no expert on drilling concrete, but this drill did the job in a hurry.
