I wish I had bought this drill YEARS ago. I had been relying on a 18v hammer drill for heavy duty tasks…and while it ultimately did the job this Bosch drill does it in a fraction of the time! I also like that I can attach other SDS+ bits to do other tasks, like breaking up concrete, etc. Love it!

Bought this yesterday to add drainage holes in the wall around my swimming pool and gardening areas yesterday…. Took me about 25 minutes to drill one hole with a regular drill and a 1″ Mason bit… Once I got this beast, 1 hole took less than 30 seconds!!Secondly, the HD representatives helped me decifer between products within the same price range. They were outstanding!!

Don’t worry about concrete anymore. I was the guy who struggled with cordless drills before.

My job was to put a railing on our back concrete steps. This is my first time working with concrete so….I bought a low end hammer drill, $50 or so. The concrete is about 3″ thick. The cheaper drill just couldn’t do it. I went through two drill bits.Did a little research and found this BOSCH Bulldog Rotary Hammer drill, about $200. I also bought a double carbide tipped BOSCH drill bit. This drill went through the concrete like nothing.I had the job done in about 20 minutes. Now I’m looking for more concrete jobs ha ha. As I say, I’m no expert on drilling concrete, but this drill did the job in a hurry.

Really surprised me how easily it ripped up floor tile with the thinset.I would purchase it again because of the power and the ability to use it as a chisel or hammer drill. Multi functionality is great!

Drilled through concrete like butter! Make sure you have SDS drill bits for this.

If anyone has done much with power tools, using this tool is fairly self-evident. Once knowing how to insert the chisels into the driver, the rest is straight forward. Definitely, need to use two hands. Being able to adjust the position of the chisels is a great help to get at close spaces and angles. I used it to replace bricks on my chimney, that were set with concrete and not mortar. I had originally started with a pneumatic chisel, but my compressor only had a 6 gallon tank, so the pressure dropped within 30 seconds and the compressor could not keep up. This is my only use so far, but will easily pay for itself, over hiring a bricklayer or even renting a power chisel, especially since I will have to replace few more bricks next year.

Have used the bulldog in the past and finally after 6 years my el cheapo wore out (honestly was surprised it lasted that long tbh) so it was time for quality. Never disappointed with Bosch tools. Good quality and even their low end price point equipment work extremely well.

Does the job, but depth gauge is a joke. Do not trust it!

My father-in-law picked up an SDS-Plus at a garage sale for $3.50. It had a bad chuck, which I replaced for about $50. Now with this set and SKU 1000687373, which included a couple chisels, I’ve got a great tool for not much money to deal with some upcoming concrete projects!

Had a Milwaukee that would heat up and it eventually broke after a year. Milwaukee wouldn’t fix it even though it was under warranty, gave me the run around. I gave up on them fixing it, so I bought the Bulldog. Doing the same work as I did with the Milwaukee, it doesn’t heat up and does the job quicker even though my Milwaukee had more power.

Has made my job easy with drilling holes in tile and concrete.

Was way more powerful than my previous off brand rotary hammer. I used it to remove plaster and it just kept kicking no matter how hard I pushed it. Despite the dust, the motor still didn’t have any strange sounds like my previous hammer. It is loud so definitely invest in someway protection and a little heavy, but POWERFUL
