I like the fact that it has the supports on the ends so that I can work with larger pieces and give that support you need for planing without kerf. You usually get what you pay for and you wont feel cheated once you get this home. There are no bells and whistles but it is easy to set up, it’s very sturdy and versatile. My Hitachi 10″ is mounted to a piece of 3/4″ plywood so it would be portable and easy to clamp it to a work surface.. I left the saw on the plywood and mounted the saw to the stand’s removable supports. Worked perfectly. The stand has square rails; therefore, you can mount other tools to plywood bases and just clamp them to the rails, and viola! you have a sturdy, portable work station. I did this for my grinder and scroll-saw. Very handy and versatile stand for me.
