I am a professional photographer so I was looking for a great monitor at a great price and this it! IPS panel – excellent viewing angles. Can adjust height for sitting posture (that is so important – laptops cant give you that) I hook it up to my macbook pro. I can get my colors to match my macbook 95-98% I am not expecting a color match that a $1000+ monitor would give, but this is still excellent. Its 2K, the 4K ones are sharper but more expensive. I am very happy. This monitor actually makes me excited to go edit, because of the big screen and comfortable posture options.

Was putting off getting a better color accurate monitor because I thought a 10-bit would be prohibitively expensive. This makes a world of difference in my confidence to color grade video, as well as just having amazing display.

So with some help I got the monitor to work. I’m happy with the color and it’s working great so far. Just wanted to save people who are new to a Mac desktop some time and frustration. When the message on the monitor reads “no signal detected,” all it takes to press a random key on your keyboard to wake up the monitor. Deducted one star for the not-so-user-friendly experience.

I recently upgraded to this monitor for my office space. The monitor is crisp, sharp, and has great color. I would say that the colors look a little bit desaturated in comparison to my MacBook which is powering the device. I would definitely recommend this monitor to someone upgrading from a 1080p monitor but might not need a full 4k resolution.

This is a beautifully designed monitor. Excellent picture and energy efficient for its size. with its color science flexibility and connectivity choices, this would make a great addition to any video or photo editing system you are building. I’m using mine with a macbook pro to edit video .

I’m having a very frustrating time trying to set up this monitor as a display for my mac mini m1 via the HDMI cable that it comes with. First there is nothing but this message “no cable connected.” After pushing some buttons on back of the monitor to select the option of “HDMI, ” it displays the message “no signal detected.” After doing more researches online, I followed someone’s suggestion to use a different HDMI cable, I tried another HDMI cable which works on other devices. Still, no luck. Its Friday night, and I can’t get any tech support until Sunday. I’m not sure if I got a defective one or I did something wrong. I really do not wish to end up having to return it and having to spend more time hunting for another monitor. But if that what needs be done, oh well…

Use it for my photography. A lot of real estate, derp blacks and true colors. For the price you can’t go wrong.
