Positive: is easy to install.Negative: the claim of reducing (I understand as eliminating) chlorine taste for 1 year is not true. This claim is good only for 6 months.Replacement every 6 months becomes a bit pricey.

I’ve been using these for the last 2 years (replace once a year) for my refrigerators ice maker. Works great! Ice is great and no odd odors, ever after 12 months. Not sure how many gallons I’m going through in 12 months for the ice maker, but I can say, we use a lot of ice!
