This little deer is unique & adorable! I love the design with the barrel body that lights up, I’ve ever seen anything like it anywhere. The light is a little dim, but you can tell it’s there. It was super easy to put together, you just screw the legs on. The fork antlers are very flimsy & they bend easy. I know it says it can be used outside, but I used it next to my fireplace. I was worried some of the delicate metal might rust and break, so I won’t be using as an outside decoration. It’s a good size and was worth the money. I’m very happy with it overall

Had I not purchased this item on sale, I would say it was over-priced. The sale price is about right. I am using it on a covered porch with trees having battery-operated lights, so the fact it does not give off much light itself is of no consequence. But, it would get lost and really wouldn’t show up if it were used as a yard decoration. The design is cute and it is easy to put together. Batteries also are easy to install. It would look nice next to an indoor Christmas tree. And, if used in indoors or in a covered area, it should last a long time. Home Depot’s service was outstanding as always.
